Applications are used for many types of needs, so why not one for the management of Type 2 diabetes, a form of diabetes that develops during pregnancy? Researchers at Seoul National University in Korea have developed such an application and evaluate its use.
The Android app has recommendations for mothers who were diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Recommendations were based on clinical practice guidelines. Some recommendations are for general care, and others are specific to pregnant women according to individual lifestyles. Smartphone application helps like it shows the possible prevention and type 2 diabetes medications list which patient can follow for a normal lifestyle.

In February 2016, the research healthcare information newspaper reported the results of an evaluation of the application by an online survey. Pregnant women could use the enforcement 69.5 percent of the time.
Users have accepted the application and expressed the desire to use it in case of 5.5 to 7.0. A total of 4.3 patients out of 7.0 received 4.6 times the useful application of 7. Overall, the women ranked on the application 5.0 7.0 for the use.
From the results above, it was concluded that the application could be useful to control gestational diabetes. The results are less than stellar, but they are a good start. Perhaps more tweaking can make it easier to use the program. Several applications already in use are designed less but thoroughly provide useful information or communication for people with type 2 diabetes.
